11，未解決の問題と今後のスケジュール

　 主委員会(Main Commission)は、主要な勧告案を作成するための支援文書を多数準備中である。その文書には低線量放射線の健康への影響、RBE値の検討に関する要約文書から、放射線と人体組織の荷重係数改訂版にいたるものなどがある。その他開発中の問題で、更に検討が必要なものは、次の通りである：

• 現在ある拘束値の数を減らす可能性、拘束値をもっと簡潔にできないかの検討
• 規制除外の概念を明確にすること、規制当局の統制から発表されるものは「決定版'authorised releases'」であるとの見方を明確にすること
• 仮想の個人を表すために用いられる「クリティカル・グループ'critical group'」 という概念の再検討。1990年勧告のずっと前から、ICRPではこの点には取り組んでこなかった
• 防護最適化が実際に達成できるような方法論の開発

　2003年後半に開催される4つの委員会の討議用に勧告草案を作成する計画である。それによって、2004年5月のIRPA 11Congressでは準備の整った草案が利用できるようにする。最終版は2005年に出版する予定である。表‐3は、現行勧告から新しい提案への変更点をまとめて、主なトピックを編集したものである。
